Where is Beaurgard Town?
Beauregard Town is the neighborhood bordered on the East Interstate 110, on the West by the Mississippi River, on the North by North Blvd., and on the South by South Blvd. Residents can be heard referring to “SoGo” as the half of Beauregard town South of Government St. and “NoGo” as the half of the subdivision that is North of Government St.

If you would like to research an address, the Baton Rouge room in the River Center branch of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library has files of old documents about many older properties in the city. This library is part of the downtown Baton Rouge River Center governmental complex at the corner of St. Louis Street and North Boulevard, which incidentally makes it one of the many buildings in Beauregard Town that might be featured here.
